George Perris is a multilingual recording and touring pop singer who has carved an unconventional path throughout his career.
Born in Greece to a French mother and Greek father, he went from regional stardom to being the leading international Greek singer of his generation, having performed on some of the world’s greatest stages (Lincoln Center, New York; Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Athens; Place Des Arts, Montreal) and collaborated with internationally acclaimed artists such as Michel Legrand, Placido Domingo, Lara Fabian, Tina Arena and Stephan Moccio.

Throughout his career, he has released albums in Greek, English and French, his most recent Greek album peaking at #3 and staying there for 5 consecutive weeks. His songs have charted in the top 20 positions in more than 40 countries.

George has also released 3 TV Specials on the American network PBS: “Live At Jazz At Lincoln Center”, "The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! Live!" and “Live At The Acropolis”, which reached audiences of more than 150 million viewers.

He recently made history as the first singer to perform a show on the grounds of an ancient Greek temple. The performance, titled 'A Sunset In Greece,' was filmed at the Temple of Aphaea and began airing on PBS in late 2021 while it was simultaneously used by the Greek National Tourism Organization to promote Greece worldwide.
In its first eight months of broadcast, the show garnered over 110 million viewers in the USA.

In December 2021 he was selected by the Grammy Recording Academy for their “Global Spin” series which showcases some of the world’s most prominent artists.

George holds a special place in his heart for the music of Michel Legrand, with Legrand's compositions being a significant part of his repertoire. Recognized as one of the best interpreters of Legrand's songs, George had the honour of performing on stage with the legendary composer on various occasions, at Legrand's personal invitation.
This deep connection was further highlighted in May 2024, when George participated in the Cannes Film Festival. He was featured in a documentary celebrating Michel Legrand’s life and work, appearing alongside iconic artists such as Barbra Streisand, Sting, and Nana Mouskouri.

He took stage with Placido Domingo once again in July 2024, with the
Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra at the annual Sani Festival in Greece.

He has recently become a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, appointed by Greek legend Nana Mouskouri, focusing on combatting violence against children.

The artist will release a new album in Greek later in 2024.
