“The Jive Aces are really spectacular, not only clowning about and putting on a real show, but their musicianship is rock solid, they cover everything from Joe Houston to Louis Prima via Joe Turner. “Jazz, jive and swing band The Jive Aces have to be one of the most entertaining and multi-talented acts around. ……
…..Watching a showreel or snippet on Youtube won’t do them justice, as it’s an act that bookers need to see live.
Just make sure you take some sunglasses if sitting in the front rows.”

THE ORIGINS of THE JIVE
In the 1930s and 1940s, Jive gained popularity in the United States, largely due to the influence of swing music.
Jive first rose to popularity as a Black American social dance in jazz dance halls and swing clubs in the United States in the early twentieth century
Swing musicians like Cab Calloway attracted large crowds of jive dancers at big band venues like New York's Savoy Ballroom.

Jive eventually made its way to Europe with the American soldiers during World War II, with "jive" becoming a synonym for "swing."
Today Jive is enjoyed both in competitive dance and social settings.

Jive dance is an upbeat, energetic dance style with an overall sense of fun and enthusiasm.
Jive dancers typically exhibit a lively, carefree attitude, making it a fun and exuberant dance to both watch and perform.

I am certain there are many jive and swing aficionados in your city who would love to attend their concerts. The Jive Aces seems to have a following in most countries.
The band is also perfect for outdoor events, providing a great opportunity for people to dance. Their infectious energy and vibrant music are guaranteed to turn around and uplift the mood of all audience members. Even those who don’t typically dance will find themselves unable to resist the urge to get up and groove along!
