Ariel Ardit is accepted as "one of the best Tango singers of Argentina of all times" and "the best of his generation" by the Argentinean people and critics.

In 2013 Ardit was part of the presidential entourage, as the only tango singer, in the commercial mission of President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner to various countries.

In 2015 he won the Konex Award for Best Male Tango Artist of the Decade.
In 2015 and 2017, he won the Carlos Gardel Award for Best Male Tango Artist. He also earned two Latin Grammy nominations for the albums Aníbal Troilo - 100 años and Gardel Sinfónico. He recorded the latter with the Philharmonic of Medellín on the 80th death anniversary of Tango legend Carlos Gardel.
Throughout his career he has performed in more than 30 countries around the world, appearing in the most prestigious theaters, such as the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Lincoln Center in New York, Kennedy Center in Washington, Royal Carré in Amsterdam, Teatro Real in Madrid, Châtelet in Paris, Concert Hall in Moscow, Orchard Hall in Tokyo and Grieg Hall in Norway, among others.

In 2019 he celebrated his 20 years in tango with his typical orchestra and great guests with a concert at the Teatro Coliseo.
In 2021, he made a cycle of concerts in Buenos Aires once a month which lasted for seven months.

Ariel Ardit is invited to sing the National Anthem on special occasions. Among the highlights are the return of the Argentine football team to Buenos Aires with the World Cup in 2022 and the goodwill match between Argentina and Panama in 2023.
He also sang the anthem in Dubai at the special request of Diego Maradona and in Plaza de Mayo for 30 years of democracy before.

In September 2023, Ariel Ardit was declared an “outstanding personality of the culture of Buenos Aires” by the autonomous city of Buenos Aires.

As a soloist, he has released eight albums.
